Tate works with a diverse array of individuals, businesses and families in his practice areas.
Tate’s corporate practice ranges from the representation of start-up ventures, to the ongoing representation of businesses as outside general counsel, to the one-time representation of clients in business acquisition transactions, sale transactions, real estate transactions and private money and bank financing transactions. Tate’s practice is designed to scale up and down on demand to meet the evolving needs of each business he works with.
In his trusts and estates practice, Tate works with individuals, families and estates of all types. Tate works both with individuals who require core and flexible estate plans as well as high-net worth individuals and family offices who require sophisticated tax and estate planning solutions. Tate’s trusts and estates practice overlaps with his corporate practice, allowing him to work closely with founders, owners and families of closely held generational businesses to create and execute bespoke succession plans.
Tate is currently enrolled in NYU’s Executive L.L.M. in Taxation program, with an anticipated graduation date of May, 2022.
